Supposed to be a good swimming hole down in there, and I felt an urgency to press on back down the WT. Many miles to go & rumors have it the Park Rangers have closed all trails to the East of Mt. Rainier & as well as many of those to the North. How quickly are the flames spreading? Is it a slow moving ground fire? Or a firestorm blazing across the forest canopy? All we know it’s smoky smokey smokie!!!
