Goddess becomes flesh
She emerges from rock, dirt, water
And ascends naked above trees
Goddess ascends into the Wild
Climbs high
Holds up half the sky
She sees what we have done and weeps
Tears stain the ground deeper than rain
Long struggles endured are remembered
While other, softer things are left
Broken and forgotten.
No matter.
As she reaches in triumph victorious
She remembers everything.
