Of course times have changed since then with Star Trek: Picard’s grittier, darker themes this March of 2020 as the Covid-19 pandemic rages as the Usurper in the White House flounders, the polar ice caps are melting far faster than initially anticipated, global warming is wrecking our planet, AI leaps faster to the dreaded Singularity, the economy tanks, enormous swarms of ravenous locusts, swarms 3 times the size of New York City, buzz across parts of Africa, the Middle East, & South Asia. Being in the outdoors brings peace.
