Conflict. Kristina & I are photographed in a low-key fact with emotions suppressed in public. Masculine-feminine polarity dynamics off the rails here. Parenting is sometimes incredibly stressful. Coparenting a blended family within a larger context of intentional community is also stressful in a different way. We work thru it. At first I hesitated at putting these pictures in here, just like a couple of images Morgan captured of Kristina & I down at Camden Harbor. And while this was a romantic getaway, this familymoon wasn’t always romantic. Was very little space for erotic and spiritual interconnections. Plus despite our frugal approaches this trip during the Great Recession was proving quite expensive financially. Yuppers, relationships are complicated, and life is messy. Love is easy, and relationships take work and patience and adaptability to change.
